Just noticed that I’ve been posting a lot of entries pertaining to either Eminem or Nicki Minaj lately. You have got to give it to them – they be making headlines. Anyway, back to today’s video. Most of you probably know the song and not the video. I was one of y’all, until last night. Apparently “I Love They Way You Lie” is all about domestic violence (you can read about all this and more here). Knew that?

Anyway, so I came across this video and thought it best to let you guys see it. If you’ve seen before then…, whoohoo to you (LOL.) As for those who haven’t, enjoy! 🙂

The rapper – who recently recorded a duet with the star entitled ‘Love the Way You Lie’ – has a crush on the Barbados-born singer. His grandmother Betty Kresin thinks they would make a great couple.

Betty told heat magazine: “I can totally see what any girl including Rihanna would see in him. He’s so charming; he has always had adorable, beautiful blue eyes and this charming, wonderful smile”.

“Rihanna would make a suitable partner for Marshall. But he needs to enjoy life and not get carried away with any relationships at the moment.” Rihanna and Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, are reportedly in constant communication, but for the ‘Umbrella’ singer – who is dating baseball star Matt Kemp – their relationship is purely platonic.

A source said: “Marshall would date Rihanna in a heartbeat if she showed even the slightest interest. They’re on the phone and texting each other constantly”. Rihanna who was assaulted by then-boyfriend Chris Brown in February 2009 – recently admitted she felt “connected” to the lyrical references to domestic abuse in ‘Love the Way You Lie’.

She said: “It’s something that, you know, we’ve both experienced on different sides, different ends of the table. “Eminem pretty much just broke down the cycle of domestic violence and it’s something that people don’t have a lot of insight on.

“I knew if he sent me a record there must be something to it. It couldn’t just be, ‘Oh, duh! She was in that relationship so we have to get her’. The lyrics were so deep, so beautiful and intense. It’s something that I understood, something I connected with.” In the song, Eminem raps: “I laid hands on her/I’ll never stoop so low again/I guess I don’t know my own strength”.

The 70-year-old is bidding to become the oldest male musician to have a UK number one album, but failed to dislodge Recovery by US rapper Eminem.

Sir Tom is trying to take the crown from Bob Dylan, whose album went to number one in the UK in 2009 at the age of 67. The Welsh veteran is also seeking the third number one studio album of his career – and his first since Reload 11 years ago.

Elsewhere in the album chart, Plan B remained at number three with The Defamation of Strickland Banks, while Eliza Doolittle rose one place from five to four with her self-titled album in the listing from The Official UK Charts Company. US rockers Avenged Sevenfold entered the chart at number five with Nightmare, and Jedward came in at number 17 with Planet Jedward.

In the singles chart, boy band Wanted came in at number one with All Time Low, displacing club anthem specialists Yolanda Be Cool vs D Cup with We Speak No Americano.

Billionaire, by Travie McCoy featuring Bruno Mars, entered the chart at number three, while other new entries in the top 10 were Club Can’t Handle Me by Flo Rida featuring David Guetta at five, One (Your Name) by Swedish House Mafia and Pharrell at seven, and I Need Air by Magnetic Man featuring Angela Hunte at 10.

I’mma pick the world up and I’mmo drop it on your f**ken head. Motherf**ker I’m gone!

I liked this track from the very first day I listened to it. I often ask myself, what is it that makes one like a certain track? Is it the beats, what’s being said or perhaps the combination of artists (Who it is)? Say for instance you had Nicki Minaj featuring the likes of Eminem for instance, would that somewhat automatically make you like the track?

Anyway, listen to it and tell me what you think 🙂
